Now is a great time to think about finally getting that CPR training!
We are so grateful to be able to offer this quick and easy, yet fully accredited course!
American Heart Association curriculum, standard fees, and training in a very comfortable environment are offered!
We are working with a Registered Nurse, who is certified to teach American Heart Association CPR . The
on-line training takes place in the comfort of your own home, and the hands-on training will take place in our Rising
Phoenix T'ai Chi Studio.
First, contact us to register for a publicized class or to request a class. Then the steps would be:
There are 2 parts to the training, online and hands-on :
1)
The initial step is to go to this link http://www.onlineaha.org/
for The American Heart Association (AHA), to register.
Go to Course Catalog, look for Workplace Training.
Choose "Heartsaver CPR AED on-line part 1". Follow the prompts.
The cost for this part of the training is $23, paid online.
Those who have used it say it takes around 30 minutes to an hour. This class will be for
Adult only, so be sure to note that and you can op out on “child and infant” in the video.
2) For the hands-on testing in our studio, the charge is $40 per student, paid to the instructor. This
is a separate charge from the initial online test, as is standard. This charge covers the Certified Instructor, the hands
on training with CPR manikins and an AED simulator, and the fee for registering your certification
and your card.
After you have successfully completed the course,
the instructor will send the completed rosters to AHA and your the Certification Cards will be sent to us. The
certification is good for 2 years.
We will let you know when the
cards are in, and arrange for pick-up or mailing.
The class will be approximately an hour.
American Heart Association CPR is readily accepted
by institutions who require CPR training for their staff.
