We regulary hold workshops in Qi Gong, T'ai Chi, Movement Improvement T'ai Chi and more across the country.   Some are public, and others are through private organizations.

Cate Morrill, President of Shoulders Down, Inc. and Director of Rising Phoenix T’ai Chi is Wudang Master Yun Xiang Tseng’s Senior Instructor from Atlanta, and is the lead teacher for these seminars. She has 21 years of experience with T'ai Chi and Qi Gong, and  teaches seminars in Atlanta and around the country to help all to relax, refresh, restore and re-invigorate!

We design programs to fit your needs, with options such as  two hour informal talks or breakout sessions,  formal presentations, half-day, or one or two day Qi Gong Seminars, or an Introduction to T'ai Chi.
Attendees to our workshops do not need prior training in Qi Gong or T'ai Chi to benefit. Written handouts are provided. Additional practice materials, including DVDs, video tapes and music CDs, are available.

Kearney, NE  Creating Health:  A Qi Gong Workshop for Women,

If you’d like to have more energy, create a lighter, stronger body and generally feel better, this workshop is for you! This  workshop provides movements for energy flow, help in identifying and moving away the obstacles to optimum health, suggestions for healthy eating choices, lifestyle impowerment suggestions and more. Printed support information is provided, DVD and other support is available.

Kearney Nebraska

Teaching the Teacher Level 1

Cate Morrill and Kathy Sheahan of Rising Phoenix T’ai Chi  provided  training for new Movement Improvement Tai Chi Instructors in Kearney, NE.

Teaching the Teacher Level 2

Cate and Kathy  also provided an advanced MI training workshop in Kearney, NE. Cate and Kathy have extensive experience providing programs for seniors and those with Arthritis, Parkinson's disease, Fibromyalgia, Visual Impairments, and other situations. 

Creating Health:  A Qi Gong Workshop for Women, Portland, OR
 Rising Phoenix T’ai Chi, which has Qi Gong and T’ai Chi classes for women in Portland,  presented this workshop at the Subud House on 31st and NE Regents Drive. If you’d like to have more energy, create a lighter, stronger body and generally feel better, this workshop is for you! 

Columbia MD,Qi Gong workshop in  Cate Morrill taught a one day workshop in T'ai Chi and Qi Gong movements and concepts .
Ashville, NC. Cate Morrill taught Qi Gong and T'ai Chi Workshops for adults at Warren Wilson College's annual Swannanoa Gathering

Portland, Or  Cate Morrill and Kathy Sheahan taught a
Qi Gong Workshop for Women for Stress Reduction, Health and Fitness  This workshop was hosted by Portland's local Rising Phoenix T’ai Chi/Shoulders Down instructor, Kathy Sheahan. At the workshop, easy-to-learn and perform sets of Qi Gong movements were presented. These were designed to help create a healthy body, reduce stress, restore and re-invigorate energy and maintain a focused mind 
 
Johns Hopkins University to provide a workshop for teachers in the JHU graduate program on "Reducing Stress and Managing Behavior in the Classroom."

Omaha, NE  Advanced MI training workshop. Cate and Kathy have extensive experience providing programs for seniors and those with Arthritis, Parkinson's disease, Fibromyalgia, Visual Impairments, and other situations.
